bob the builder character toys Do girls prefer bob the builder to barbie?
In a focus group carried out by toy manufacturer Martin Yaffe, where children were invited to put this year’s top Christmas toys through their paces, seven out of 10 girls chose to play with toys “designed for boys”.
The girls preferred Bob the Builder to Barbie and Bratz – and over half of the parents at the focus group were so impressed with their daughters’ infatuation with the Bob the Builder Snaptrax set with working car wash and dryer that they’re prepared to cough up for it.
According to Michael Carrington, creative director of the BBC’s flagship children’s channel CBeebies, this isn’t surprising – girls are happy to watch programmes with male and female lead characters, so it follows that they’re happy to play with traditionally male- and female-gendered toys.
I always preferred my brothers’ toys to the stupid dolls I used to get. Their toys were cool and fun. Dolls get boring real quick. I think it’s time to stop presuming to market certain toys to certain genders.

bob the builder costume What’s a cute, kid-friendly costume?
I’m going to be handing out candy at my grandmother’s house for Halloween most likely, but before that, I’m sure that I’ll want to go to some parties!
So what’s a good costume that won’t look dorky and won’t scare the bejeezus out of the Bob the Builders and princesses knocking at the door? I would like traditional-ish. And please, no stupid “punny” ones.
Go as a Gypsy, That’s fun & won’t scare the little ones.

Were supposed 2 dress like gophers, yet, right now…i swear…we look like Bob the builder. Right now we all have overalls, brown sweater, and a yellow bob the builder hat.
I refuse to walk on that stage looking retarded.

the first link doesn’t work, but i think i get the idea of where you’re talking about (like over your stomach?). i would say to be legible, it would have to be pretty good sized, maybe a little too large for that area. sounds like something better suited for your back. it’s all up to you, of course

my son will not go on the potty. He has no problem peeing on it. I gave him cookies for going, then I tried tatoos that worked for a little while. THen I tried a sticker thing where he got a sticker every time he went then at the end of the week a toy, I’ve tried just putting underwear on him. I just went and bought a bob builder couchin and put it on the potty to make the hole smaller. I dont know what to do. PLZ help me plz
Don’t try to rush things. My son is 3 1/2 and we have a baby that is 8 months. When the baby was born, the 3 year old refused to go to the potty. He wears pull up training pant, but won’t tell us when he has to go. I have him on a schedule of going every two hours, even if he says he doesn’t have to go and he usually stays dry all day. But, he won’t tell me when he has to go poo. He will wear it until I smell it and then deny that he is dirty. I asked him once why he wouldn’t go to the potty and he said it was because he liked it when I changed his diaper. Just try to be patient with him, it will happen eventually. I have never seen a kindergardener in diapers.
